Admission Requirements
General Admission Guidelines
Admission into Mountain Top University's Open Distance and e-Learning (ODeL) programs is open to qualified candidates who meet the University's general admission criteria as well as specific program requirements. We are committed to providing accessible education to a diverse student body.
Undergraduate Programs (100 Level)
For admission into our undergraduate programs (JAMB UTME is not required), candidates must satisfy the following:
- Obtain a minimum of **five (5) credits** in the Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE) or its equivalent (GCE, NECO, NABTEB, etc.).
- These credits must include **English Language** and **Mathematics**, along with **three (3) other subjects** relevant to the chosen course of study.
- The required credits must be obtained in **not more than two (2) sittings**.
200 Level (DE) Admission
Candidates seeking Direct Entry admission into our undergraduate programs must meet the following:
- A minimum of **five (5) O'Level credits** as stated above (English Language, Mathematics, and three relevant subjects).
- In addition, candidates must possess one of the following qualifications:
- Two (2) A'Level passes in relevant subjects.
- OND/HND with a minimum of Upper Credit in relevant disciplines from a recognized institution.
- NCE with a minimum of Merit in relevant subjects.
- Other recognized equivalent qualifications.
