MTU ODeL Mission
To provide access to quality and flexible higher education through distance learning platform for the production and development of morally upright and academically sound graduates who are creative, innovative, research oriented and with specialised skills and value systems.
Our goal is to nurture independent, invariably self-employable, technologically knowledgeable, and competent graduates in their areas of specialization irrespective of location, gender, age, and race.

The philosophy of the Centre is premised on Mountain Top University philosophy which is in line with the Nigerian Philosophy of Education, which posits that:
